Schedule and Triple Constraint

 Hey Guys!
Monday the 28th of February

Semester 1 for Cross-Disciplinary

Recap from last week:

Best from Worst.

Craft Market:

Made the resource look very well presented, making it feel like to make a craft market. Nice work with images.

Music and Light Show: (My Team)

Lots of individuals information. Probably better to add images.

Own Notes:

I believe probably that the activity should've been clarify what we are doing with the research. I didn't know that what we were doing was a hypothetical. I was just taking notes.

Also it took me time to figure out what we were searching. I thought we were researching into previous events, not into how to make this event.

I would have enter images if I knew teams allowed. My lack experience in teams.

Quiz/Trivia:

Some information, what would you do with it?

Disco/Rave:

What information we found? What information would you use to make into an event.

Poor Communication, Improvement?

Emma constructed this document to look into when it comes to communication in a group. Will look into this for homework.

Thoughts:

Roles Categorized:

I should have put a reasons to 'why I don't want to do certain roles', Mostly cause, I've done the finance, legal and Coordinator. I've been put as a leader in most of these roles and no offense to some people in this class, some people are lazy and I don't want to do their work to complete the task.

Triple Constraint:

Time + Cost + Scope = Quality

"You can have it good, Fast or Cheap - Pick two"

Activity:

What are some cheap project ideas?

Anything for probably just Creative students or our Year group.

  • Mini Concert/Karaoke
  • Kahoot! Class Quiz
  • Picnic (Each person in class brings something)
  • Have a Go Day (try out a new hobby)

What would take a short amount of time?

  • Talent Show (in the Church)
  • Have a Go Day (try out a new hobby)
  • Horror House/night games (In the Church)

What would have too big a scope?

Anything that includes whole Invercargill/Southland

  • Art Gallery (new artworks, could use old/previous artworks)
  • Food Event
