This event is for the Certificates, first years, second years, third year and Post grads.

Leads:

Event Coordinator:

  • Maybe two leaders for Event Co. Both able to feedback each other and also able to take leadership equality.
  • Event Co's take charge on the listed events separately. 

Site Coordinator:

  • Part Site team, health and safety, 
  • other is physical design (coherent with design team)

Finance:

  • Think about Sponsorships

Legal:

Design:

  • Less is more in team size
  • Part Design - Posters, Paper designs, ext.
  • Other part design for physical design, event?

Marketing:

  • manage team with structured timeline and use a tool like 'Tasks' on Teams. Set it up early and monitor it constantly, ticking off as you go.

Exhibition:

Goal: Displaying physical art for a longer duration. Potential interaction eg, playing a video game.

They need to think about the Installation and Distillation.

Possible Ideas to think about:

  • Self-Install is suggested
  • Submission form should be clear on clients side. - Legal team
  • Clear guides on submissions, what's accepted, any limitations, what equipment may be needed.
  • When submissions need to be in/returned. - Submission forms
  • When exhibited items must be on site.
  • Time to hand in and pick up after exhibition
  • Max physical size of artworks

  • How many artworks entered, what is consider as a group or just individual works.

  • Cost of entry? - separate items or group cost? 
    • (ie, $20 for first, then addition $10 after the first? or constant $20 pre entry?) 
    • Frist entry is free, then second entry cost
  • Artist statements with artworks?
  • Communication - doesn't leave clients in the dark for an extended period

  • Have rule on either not shown in other exhibitions or able to enter if shown in other exhibitions.

  • Opening Night? Some catering?

  • Site Maps be some what constant to Showcase Night

Showcase night:

Thursday the 17th of November 2022, after 5pm.

Viewing digital media [Films, Animations, other digital files]. A one time feature with a set running time & schedule.

Possible Ideas:

  • Ticketed?
  • Catered?
  • Shall we have a game area for playable games or show video of game played?
  • Shall we have "Work in Progress" Area? (For those who want to see the progress of work and possibly study the strand?)
  • Programs/running - MC
  • Guest speakers, VIPs, thanking sponsors and VIPs.
  • 'Celebration'
  • Competitions
    • Judges
    • Criteria or categories
    • prizes - can be sponsored

Social Night:

Friday the 18th of November 2022, after 6pm

Possible Ideas:

  • After party like
  • External location. A 'separation' between work and play.
  • Potentially ticketed- limited numbers. More of a private event.
  • Possible 'Plus Ones'
  • Activities, food, beverages, .*-socialize-*.
  • Held independent of the event.

  • Budget, the percentage split between each category?

  • Cohesive Design
