Re-Thinking of a Smaller Scope

Rethinking project and my scope of project compared to other papers and life, is unreasonable for me to complete and research. So I'm going to the basics and see what skill I can improve. This basic skill will improve a much grander skill. 

An example my animation flow is very rigged, so for me to improve, I think if I improve my line of action understandment, then I can improve my animation.

Another example is 3D assists, i don't know how to colour my 3D assist and I like to incorporate the paint like textures. But first I need to understand how to paint like textures on 2D images.

Will be, doing 'Line of action' - Motion Studies

Question: 

How to use line of action to improve my drawing and animation?

Can be used as:

Still drawings for single poses

Making dynamic animation key poses

Research:

Examples of past use:

eadweard muybridge - Photographer in research to movement. - (Still images/photos, Clean Photos)

etienne jules marey - photographer that show in between - (the blur photos).

Zootopia - Animator used herself as footage as references in animating - (3D animation)

Little Mermaid - Walt Crew get Sherri Stoner to act out the action footage reference - (2D Animation)

Evaluate:

Experiment with:

1. Photos (Burst Mode or High speed) - This situation might be better for me to process

2. Footage - This type might be too overwhelming and might have to go through frame by frame to understand

3. App - Programs (Motion Studio) - Too expensive

Then draw out single pose or/and 'frame by frame' pose from photos and footage.

1. Try Skin suit

2. Add clothing or longer hair. - long flow - show gravity.

(for addition difficulty) 3. Add props

Implement Findings in experiments and test:

Peaceful: Dance (twirl)

Aggressive: Action - Fight (Punch & Staff attack/defend) -

Playful: Music (Sing/Guitar)
