Game Design List of Requirements

 Hey Guys!
Monday the 19th of September.

Currently I feel like I am getting distracted with how much coding and what is required so I plan out to list them here so I go down the list in order, rather than confusing.

UX/UI:

Staff/Health:

  • have 3 hearts (3 lights)
  • check to see what health is when hit (reduse by 1 each hit)
  • check to see what health is when collecting health (add by 1 health, max of 3 hearts)

Main menu:

    • Start Game
    • Exit Game
  • Animate Lights (appeal coding)

Pause Screen:

  • Inventory area
  • Life/Heart area
    • Continue Game
    • Respawn Checkpoint (For Bugs)
    • Quit Game
  • Pause the Game (From Game to Pause)
  • Exit Pause Screen
  • Pause Game time
Death Screen:
  • Trigger of Death - last health gone
    • Respawn at Checkpoint
    • Main menu
    • Exit Game
  • Animate ashes (appeal coding)

Character Movements:

  • Edit Gravity, more height but quicker fall.
  • Add run
  • Malee Attack
  • Range Attack
  • NavMesh trigger to areas of walking (unable to walk off thing/into areas)

Character trigger:

  • Collecting Items
  • Collecting Heart/Life
  • Getting Hit by Enemy
  • Invulnerable time
  • Jumping on Jump Pad
  • Death - No play

Enemy:

  • Movement
  • Hits player
    • After hitting, take break from hitting the player.
  • Take damage (three hits)
  • Responding player close

Environment:

  • Edit NavMesh (to non walkable area)
  • Jumping pad, make playable character jump.
  • Make Item collectible
  • Collect right amount items pass level
  • Health collectible
  • Does player require it (yes or no)
